Message from Sheri L. Webber

It was in 2001 when I was first asked to review and re-structure the Health and Safety Program that first open the doors into this complex and demanding world. Without any special training or source of guidance, a basic program was developed. Since then, I have continually improved this program incorporating the ever changing needs of my clients as well as regulated legislation such as the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations for Industrial Establishments and WHMIS. These legislative requirements hold many responsibilities over owners, employers and workers and I am here to ensure your company understands them and follows them. 

I have truly enjoyed working together with business owners, employers and employees as we develop a concrete Health, Safety and Environmental Program that will meet all of their needs. It is my expectation and goal to ALWAYS help you go beyond the minimum requirements and set a higher standard for all employees at any level within your organization.

In September 2002, I was part of a Workwell Audit and the organization passed their audit due to the programs that were developed and implemented by myself. I have also had the pleasure of seeing my program qualify to meet the ISO 18001 requirements in 2006 with minimal modifications.

I am confident in my Health, Safety and Environmental program and if utilized and managed effectively and to its fullest potential, it will bring you amazing results. With that being said, it also requires a commitment from every worker at every level for any program to be successful. 

My services and knowledge are here to help your organization reach this higher standard and implement a program that is easily manageable, cost effective and above all reduces injury/loss to people, process, equipment and environment.

Biography

Sheri Lynn was born in Edmonton, Alberta on February 16, 1970. She is the oldest of five with the first set of twins born in 1972 (Cindy and Tammy) and the second set of twins born in 1974 (Jason and Jennifer). She attended elementary School at St. Elizabeth Catholic Elementary School and St. Hilda Catholic Junior High School. In June of 1985, she moved to St. Catharines, Ontario with her mother, Lynn Corcoran.

Sheri Lynn graduated from St. Catharines Collegiate in 1988. Since then her life has been devoted to her children, Brandon Matthew (born 1989), Brooke Ashley-Lynn (born 1993) and Brygette Ann-Marie (born 1995).

Throughout her adult life, she has worked at various occupations but it wasn't til 2001 that she found enjoyment in Safety Program Development. She created the beginning stages of the "Webber System" and it has become a concise and adaptable system that can grow as the needs are identified. Sheri Lynn started a company called Safety Management Strategies Consulting in 2002 and in 2005 incorporated her business to Webber Safety Strategies Inc.

Sheri Lynn is a true believer in continuous learning, building her knowledge and awareness through education whether in be in a school, seminar(s) or other means to keep up-to-date with current requirements. She has completed post-secondary education listed below as well as safety related training which can be found on the credentials page.

• Graduated from St. Catharines Collegiate High School in 1988 with OSSD.
• Graduated from Niagara College with a General Arts and Sciences Diploma in 2002.
• Graduated from Niagara College with a Computer Software Applications Certificate in 2002.
• Graduated from Niagara College with a Journalism-Print Diploma in 2006.
• Completed one year at Niagara College for Mechancial Engineering.
